 Daydreamer

Beverly found she had no trouble at all adjusting to her new lifestyle, and enjoyed snoozing the day away in the basement. Living in the Oresha Cham House made it easy to keep her grades up despite having to miss class, because there was always an eager pledge or two willing to do assignments and term papers. Strangely, though, her fellow greek house members seemed reluctant to move in after their pledge periods were over.

 The Chams relax

Only Nicholas and Brighid seemed unafraid of life with a vampire. Nick was fascinated by the idea, and wanted Bev to bite him, too, while Brighid was confident that her sister would never cause her harm. Well, that and being too caught up in her love life to care much. She was now seeing not one, but two professors on campus, and having trouble telling them apart.

Bev dates Count Dorian

Meanwhile, romance hadn’t passed Bev by, either. Count Dorian came back into her life, and now that she was older, they found they enjoyed being together as equals.

Vampires do photograph

“It’s not that vampires don’t photograph, it’s just that they don’t photograph well.”

Dorian was so smitten, he even risked daylight to show how much he cared.

Now that's devotion

But as the semester drew to a close, Bev found herself with a decision to make. Her final was scheduled during the day, so she could either lose her perfect grade-point average or give up life as a vampire.

Changes for Bev and Nick

Perhaps Nick’s constant quest for knowledge was rubbing off on her, or maybe being a vampire had stimulated her curiosity about the unknown. Either way, the decision was easy: grades came first for Bev. After giving in to Nick’s plea to be bitten himself, she dug out her bottle of Vamprocillin-D and cured herself.

Brandon joins Oresha Cham

The next semester passed fairly uneventfully. Brandon completed his pledge period and moved into Oresha Cham midway through his freshman year. He was still undecided about his major, but enjoyed the freedom of living outside of the dorms.

I love the nightlife

Beverly soon found herself back in the swing of things, heading downtown for dates and outings almost every night. (She was still a Romance Sim, after all…)

As her sophomore year drew to a close, though, Bev found herself spending more and more time studying and working on her skills. She switched majors from Drama to Psychology, giving up her old dreams of athletic fame in favor of seeking out the unknown, and maxing out her skills.

I think I’m going to put up some "virtual tour" posts of my two houses, so I can put all the item links in one place. Until then, as usual most of the wallpapers and floors are from Simthing for Everyone, http://www.simthing.net/, except for the bathroom. Walls are from Helena’s "Ancient Mosaics" set at TSR http://www.thesimsresource.com/downloads/sims2/sets?ID=141121 and the floor is from Around the Sims 2, the Souk Bathroom set http://www.aroundthesims2.com/

The quote, of course, is Cordelia Chase in Angel, season 2, "Are You Now or Have You Ever Been…"
