Beverly completed her senior year, and graduated with high honors. She was the first Petras ever to graduate from college, and her parents couldn’t be prouder.
After a large and wonderful celebration, it was time for Beverly to move back home. Her first stop, a visit to her sister’s resting place. Bethany might be gone, but she remained close to her sister’s heart.
She also found herself arriving just in time to witness the abduction of her poor sister Barbara by aliens!
Soon, Count Dorian Gray was added to the family as well, as Bev’s relationship with him grew deeper. Dorian found himself a little disoriented by his sudden change of lifestyle. He had been a powerful Master Vampire, and now he was the unemployed shlub who unclogged the toilets.
He chose to abandon his life as a vampire to better fit in, and tried making friends with his family-to-be. All in all, he was uncertain how to react to these changes, or what his life path would be now that he was human again.
It was bold and straight-forward Bev who finally popped the question. She wasted no time on the wedding preparations, either.
They were married in a quiet daytime ceremony in the backyard, with most of the Petras family in attendance. Vampire Beatrice was forced to send her regrets at being unable to attend, but she did send a lovely silver tea set as a gift. Dorian chose to take Beverly’s last name as his own, as a final symbolic break from his old un-lifestyle.
Not surprisingly, Bev became pregnant almost immediately.
Her parents eagerly awaited the arrival of their first grandchild. Since the remodeling of the house, no baby had ever graced the sparkling new nursery that lay waiting to be used.
Soon, it would be filled with the adorable sounds of a newborn baby Petras. Or so they thought…

It’s great you started up this family again! I had to read back to refresh what had been going on this family and great stuff! Must say though… it was brave of you to tackle the 10 children right off the bat hehe but well done for completing it and onto gen 3 now! w00t! (I thought it was really sweet for Bev to visit her twins grave.. sad but still sweet. Good that she didn’t forget her)

Thanks for all the nice words, guys, I appreciate it! I decided to tackle 10 kids right off the bat because both Aaron and Mary are Family Sims, so I got two for the price of one on impossible wants, and the first gen is the only place where I don’t have to worry about enough space for a large family, due to multiple gens. still hanging around the place.
