With Lakeside Manor filling rather rapidly, and more little Petras kids on the way, Belle decided to move on to college, herself. She found herself assigned to her sister Barbara’s dorm, and she was relieved to see a familiar face amongst the strange newness that was college.

She was lucky to have experienced Junior Barbara around to help her out with the freedoms of college. Barb encouraged the shy Family girl to experiment a bit, live a little, try a new look or two. Belle took the advice to heart, cropping her hair closely and dying it a bright fuschia. She was actually quite pleased with the results.

Belle did struggle a bit her first semester. Based on what she had heard from her older siblings, homework assignments and term papers were things that were written for you by people that you’d influenced.

But Belle didn’t have any real influence as a mere freshman! With the end of the term rapidly approaching, she desperately tried to find someone, any one, to fall in love with, simply to increase her influence points.

Finally, with 6 hours to go, she found herself forced to buckle down and actually study, cramming enough with her dorm-mates for her to earn that A+ after all.

Barbara was finding herself readjusting as well. In the middle of her Junior year, she finally seemed to snap back to form, recovering from the trauma of alien abduction, not to mention some lingering scholarship-itis. She “woke up” to find herself still living in a dorm, carrying a perfect 4.0 GPA, and dating Ted Stompel. Ted Stompel??? The slob that most folks in town wouldn’t touch with a ten-foot pole?

College was supposed to be the best years of her life, and here she’d wasted half of it. What happened to the string of guys she’d led around by the nose in high school? She was far too young to be tied down to any one guy. And why wasn’t she out of the dorms by now? If anyone was born to be a Greek house member, it was her.

Barb wasted no time, packing up her belongings and moving into Oresha Cham without delay – only to find more of the same. Where were the wild toga parties and cute frat boys? Why was everyone still so serious and studious?

Skill points for scholarship chases were over, everyone could relax now! Sheesh, it was Summa Cum La-dee-dah as far as she was concerned. Who even noticed after you graduated, anyway? She couldn’t care less about her schoolwork. That’s what pledges were for. In the meantime, she decided, things were going to change around here.

Ben was all for it. With a firm job offer already lined up for after graduation, he felt his final semester should be one to remember. A sim that loved the spotlight of popularity, he’d always wanted to have a party or two, but never seemed to find the time. Within a few days, the two had thrown a successful sports party, and a toga bash that raised the roof! But Barb was far from through with her plans…
