Lakeside Manor
Lakeside Manor is home to the Petras Family. It is a 2-story house that has recently been remodeled and rebuilt into the hillside of the family estate. It also features a family crypt, where the ashes of the many generations will be interred in the future.

All the exterior features of the main house are Maxis items, except the back door. It, like all the interior doors, is a "Justa" Door recolor by simlogical made to match the colors of Maxis’ “Myne” doors. These are now archived at this site. Out front is a fountain from Marina's Sims. You’ll find it on page 2 of her Medieval section
First Floor
The ground floor features a living room, rec room, kitchen, bath, and storage area.

Like most of my walls and floors, the living room wallpaper is from Kiri’s Simthing for Everyone site, the Art Nouveau collection. Specifically it’s William Morris – Jasmine 1. The floor is from the same set, William Morris – Standen Peach. The end and coffee tables are from the Well Dressed Sim. The meshes are from the Shabby Comfort Living Room set, and the texture is from the Denim Downtime Living Room.

My rec room again features wallpaper from Simthing for Everyone, here it’s William Morris—Standen 3. The floor was a tagalong download from The Sims Exchange, a lot entitled Old Town Victorian Square. The file says it’s AW1_Carpet7 by Angelways1. If anyone knows how to download their content directly, please let me know.

The kitchen has a selection from another of my favorite wallpaper collections, this time by Quiltreker at TSR. This one is Sage Beckley White 12. The floor is also from TSR, Ancient Mosaic Floor 3 by Helena. The Chez Moi Upper Cabinets are from WDS.
The downstairs bath has both walls and floors by BitzyBus at TSR. Tropical Fish Tiles and Blue Tiles, respectively.

And then we have the small storage room, where I stash the bulkier rewards items. In the future this will probably serve as a vampire bedroom as well. Wall is William Morris—Acorn 2. Floor is another tagalong from the Old Town Victorian Square (got a lot of great walls and floors from that one), entitled “Honey Wood Small” by alexabbott1354.
Second Floor

The upper floor has the family room, the master bedroom suite, 3 smaller bedrooms, a nursery and a bathroom.

The family room features another Quiltreker wallpaper, Southern Charm - Medium Wood 10. The floor is another William Morris, this one is Windrush Green. Again we have the Shabby Comfort end and coffee tables from WDS, this time with the wood texture from the Manlyish Man Living Room, and the cloth throw texture on the end table from the Denim Downtime set again.

The master bedroom has a Maxis carpet, and the wall is William Morris—Jasmine 1. The lightwood armoire is by Dincer at TSR, one of my favorite Sims 1 sets remade for Sims 2, although it does have that unfortunate shadowy thing you see on the wall behind it in the pic.

The master bath has the first Simthing for Everyone wallpaper that isn’t from the William Morris set. Instead, it’s Arts and Crafts 02. The floor is another by alexabbott1354, this one called “Dark Oak”.

Our first bedroom features wall, floor, bedding and bedframe from lockgen’s Blue Snowflake Bedroom set at TSR. The nightstand is the Shabby Comfort end table from WDS, in its original color. The glowing pillows are a result of my graphics card and not a feature of the recolor.
Bedroom 2 has another Simthing for Everyone wall, Arabesque 4, and the floor is William Morris—Fruit Blue. The bed on the left is from nicholebussell’s Animal Print Bedding Set 2 at TSR. The other is a Maxis spread.
The boys’ room items are all by BitzyBus at TSR. The beddings are, from left to right, Play Ball and Sport Bricks from her Active Boys Bedroom set, and the wall and floor are from her Celestial Study set.

The nursery wall is by STPCarly at TSR, it’s called Kids Pink Button. Floor, Crib frame and bedding, changing table fabric and potty chair are from the Fairy Tales Nursery Set at WDS. The wooden changing table is from WDS’s Bugs and Basics Nursery.

The upstairs bath features both wall and floor from the Warm Tile Collection by dancingaphrodite at TSR

And finally, the incredibly exciting upstairs hall. The wall is Hope 3 by Lorah at TSR, and the floor is ATS_wood_002c from Around the Sims 2.
Family Crypt

As I mentioned before, the house also features a family crypt. The walls and floors are all from the Granite Set at Simthing for Everyone, except for the lower level floor, which is AW1_Floor 3 by Angelways1 (again, an Exchange tagalong).
And this concludes our virtual tour of Lakeside Manor. Hope you enjoyed it! For pics and credits from the old floor plan click here (under construction)
